and</Text></Provision><Provision format-ref="indent-1-1" language-align="no" list-item="no"><Label>(<Emphasis style="italic">f</Emphasis>)</Label><Text>a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 36 consisting of an inclined plane having a ratio of one (1) foot measured vertically to fifty (50) feet measured horizontally rising to an imaginary horizontal line drawn at right angles to the projected centre line of the strip one hundred and fifty-seven (157) feet measured vertically above the elevation at the end of the strip and seven thousand eight hundred and fifty (7,850) feet measured horizontally from the end of the strip, the outer ends of the imaginary horizontal line being one thousand and thirty-five (1,035) feet from the projected line,</Text></Provision><Provision format-ref="indent-0-0" language-align="no" list-item="no"><Text>which surfaces are shown on Department of Transport Plan No. T-2743 dated June 22, 1970.</Text></Provision></Provision><Heading level="1"><Label>PART IV</Label><TitleText>DESCRIPTION OF THE OUTER SURFACE</TitleText></Heading><Provision format-ref="indent-1-0" language-align="yes" list-item="no"><Text>Being an imaginary surface located at a common plane established at a constant elevation of one hundred and fifty (150) feet above the assigned elevation of the airport reference point except where that common plane is less than thirty (30) feet above the surface of the ground, the imaginary surface is located at thirty (30) feet above the surface of the ground, which imaginary surface is shown on Department of Transport Plan No. T-2743 dated June 22, 1970.</Text></Provision><Heading level="1"><Label>PART V</Label><TitleText>DESCRIPTION OF THE STRIPS</TitleText></Heading><Provision format-ref="indent-1-0" language-align="yes" list-item="no"><Text>The strips are described as:</Text><Provision format-ref="indent-1-1" language-align="no" list-item="no"><Label>(<Emphasis style="italic">a</Emphasis>)</Label><Text>the strip associated with runway 08-26 is one thousand (1,000) feet in width, five hundred (500) feet being on each side of the centre line of the runway, and ten thousand six hundred (10,600) feet in length;</Text></Provision><Provision format-ref="indent-1-1" language-align="no" list-item="no"><Label>(<Emphasis style="italic">b</Emphasis>)</Label><Text>the strip associated with runway 18-36 is five hundred (500) feet in width, two hundred and fifty (250) feet being on each side of the centre line of the runway, and four thousand eight hundred and seventy-four (4,874) feet in length; and</Text></Provision><Provision format-ref="indent-1-1" language-align="no" list-item="no"><Label>(<Emphasis style="italic">c</Emphasis>)</Label><Text>the strip associated with runway 13-31 is one thousand (1,000) feet in width, five hundred (500) feet being on each side of the centre line of the runway, and six thousand five hundred and eighty-nine (6,589) feet in length,</Text></Provision><Provision format-ref="indent-0-0" language-align="no" list-item="no"><Text>which strips are shown on Department of Transport Plan No. T-2743, dated June 22, 1970.</Text></Provision></Provision><Heading level="1"><Label>PART VI</Label><TitleText>DESCRIPTION OF EACH TRANSITIONAL SURFACE</TitleText></Heading><Provision format-ref="indent-1-0" language-align="yes" list-item="no"><Text>Each transitional surface is a surface consisting of an inclined plane rising at a ratio of one (1) foot measured vertically to seven (7) feet measured horizontally at right angles to the centre line and centre line produced of each strip extending upward and outward from the lateral limits of each strip and its approach surfaces to an intersection with the outer surface or another transitional surface of an adjoining strip, all as shown on Department of Transport Plan No. T-2743, dated June 22, 1970.</Text></Provision><HistoricalNote><ul><li>SOR/83-498, s. 3.</li></ul></HistoricalNote></Schedule></Regulation>
