and</Text></Paragraph><Paragraph Code="se=&quot;3&quot;,ss=&quot;1&quot;,p1=&quot;c&quot;"><Label>(<Emphasis style="italic">c</Emphasis>)</Label><Text>all licences, authorizations or consents required under the <XRefExternal reference-type="act" link="O-2.4">Oceans Act</XRefExternal>, the <XRefExternal reference-type="act" link="C-33">Coastal Fisheries Protection Act</XRefExternal>, the <XRefExternal reference-type="act" link="C-33.3">Coasting Trade Act</XRefExternal> or the <XRefExternal reference-type="act" link="F-14">Fisheries Act</XRefExternal> in respect of the scientific research have been obtained.</Text></Paragraph></Subsection><Subsection Code="se=&quot;3&quot;,ss=&quot;2&quot;"><Label>(2)</Label><Text>A research plan shall include the following information:</Text><Paragraph Code="se=&quot;3&quot;,ss=&quot;2&quot;,p1=&quot;a&quot;"><Label>(<Emphasis style="italic">a</Emphasis>)</Label><Text>the name, nationality, overall length, maximum draught, net tonnage, propulsion type, call sign, registration number and port number of each ship to be involved in the scientific research in the Area, and the name of the captain of each ship;</Text></Paragraph><Paragraph Code="se=&quot;3&quot;,ss=&quot;2&quot;,p1=&quot;b&quot;"><Label>(<Emphasis style="italic">b</Emphasis>)</Label><Text>the names and positions of the persons who are responsible for the development of the scientific research, and the scientific research personnel who will be on board each ship;</Text></Paragraph><Paragraph Code="se=&quot;3&quot;,ss=&quot;2&quot;,p1=&quot;c&quot;"><Label>(<Emphasis style="italic">c</Emphasis>)</Label><Text>the date on which the scientific research in the Area is to start, and the itinerary for each ship while it is involved in the research; or</Text></Paragraph><Paragraph Code="se=&quot;4&quot;,p1=&quot;c&quot;"><Label>(<Emphasis style="italic">c</Emphasis>)</Label><Text>for which they have a licence or authorization under the <XRefExternal reference-type="act" link="O-2.4">Oceans Act</XRefExternal>, the <XRefExternal reference-type="act" link="C-33">Coastal Fisheries Protection Act</XRefExternal> or a provision of the <XRefExternal reference-type="act" link="F-14">Fisheries Act</XRefExternal> other than subsection 35(2).</Text></Paragraph></Section><Section Code="se=&quot;5&quot;"><Label>5.</Label><Text>No person contravenes section 2 by carrying out any movement or other activity of ships or submarines if</Text><Paragraph Code="se=&quot;5&quot;,p1=&quot;a&quot;"><Label>(<Emphasis style="italic">a</Emphasis>)</Label><Text>the movement or other activity is carried out for the purpose of public safety, law enforcement, or Canadian sovereignty or national security;
