His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Health, pursuant to section 37 of the Canada Consumer Product Safety Acta, hereby makes the annexed Ice Hockey Helmet Regulations.aS.C. 2010, c. 21APPLICATION

Scope1.These Regulations apply to the importation, advertising and sale of ice hockey helmets.

REQUIREMENT

Standard2.Ice hockey helmets must meet the requirements of Standard Z262.1, entitled Ice hockey helmets, published by the Canadian Standards Association, as amended from time to time.

COMING INTO FORCE

S.C. 2010, c. 21*3.These Regulations come into force on the day on which section 37 of the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act comes into force.*[Note: Regulations in force June 20, 2011, see SI/2011-12.]
