Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, hereby
(a) authorizes Canadians to accept and wear the Article 5 North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) Medal for Operation "Active Endeavour", with an "Article 5" bar, in recognition of honourable service in operations conducted according to Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty, as part of NATO Forces committed in the Eastern Mediterranean since October 26, 2001; and
(b) directs that the Medal follow the Article 5 NATO Medal for Operation "Eagle Assist" in the order of precedence in the Canadian Honours System.
