Secretary of State Authority to Prescribe Fees and Charges Order (Canadian Centre for Management Development)

FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION ACT

Whereas the Governor in Council is of the opinion that part of the cost of courses or seminars and residential services provided by the Canadian Centre for Management Development should be borne by the person to whom they are provided;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the President of the Queen's Privy Council for Canada and the Treasury Board, pursuant to paragraph 19(b) of the Financial Administration Act, is pleased hereby to authorize the Secretary of State of Canada to prescribe, by order:

  • (a) the fees to be paid by persons, other than

    • (i) members of the Senate and the House of Commons, and

    • (ii) persons employed in a department as defined in section 2 of the Financial Administration Act,

    for courses or seminars provided by the Canadian Centre for Management Development, based on the apportionment of the direct costs associated with the design and delivery of such courses and seminars; and

  • (b) the charges to be paid by persons, other than

    • (i) members of the Senate and the House of Commons, and

    • (ii) persons employed in a department as defined in section 2 of the Financial Administration Act,

for residential services provided by the Canadian Centre for Management Development, based on the apportionment of the direct costs associated with providing such services.
