Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, pursuant to paragraph 38(1)(a) of the Preclearance ActFootnote a, hereby makes the annexed Regulations Excluding Certain Things from the Definition of “Goods” under the Preclearance Act.

EXCLUSIONS
1. The definition “goods” in section 2 of the Preclearance Act excludes currency and monetary instruments.
COMING INTO FORCE
Footnote *2. These Regulations come into force on the day on which section 38 of the Preclearance Act, being chapter 20 of the Statutes of Canada, 1999, comes into force.
