Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to subsection 462.3(2)Footnote a of the Criminal Code, hereby makes the annexed Regulations Excluding Certain Indictable Offences from the Definition of “Designated Offence”.

EXCLUSION

 The indictable offences under the following Acts are excluded from the definition “designated offence” in subsection 462.3(1) of the Criminal Code:

  • 2010, c. 12, s. 36;
  • SOR/2010-74, s. 1.

COMING INTO FORCE

 These Regulations come into force on February 1, 2002.
