Regulations Respecting the Disposition of Certain Property Under the Control, Management and Administration of the Minister of National Revenue

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of National Revenue, pursuant to section 52 of the Financial Administration Act, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Regulations respecting the disposition of certain property under the control, management and administration of the Minister of National Revenue.

Short Title

 These Regulations may be cited as the National Revenue Transfer of Property Regulations.

Interpretation

 In these Regulations,

Minister

Minister means the Minister of National Revenue;

property

property means clothing goods and uniform accoutrements under the control, management and administration of the Minister that have been acquired for use in the manufacture of uniforms to be worn by persons employed in the administration or enforcement of the Customs Act.

Sale of Property

 The Minister may, on behalf of the Crown, sell to any person property on condition that the property is to be used by that person in the manufacture of uniforms for the Crown under a contract entered into by that person and the Crown.
