Order Granting Authority to Regulate the Marketing in Interprovincial and Export Trade of Wheat Produced in Nova Scotia

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture, pursuant to section 2 of the Agricultural Products Marketing Act, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Order granting authority to regulate the marketing in interprovincial and export trade of wheat produced in Nova Scotia.
SHORT TITLE
1. This Order may be cited as the Nova Scotia Wheat Order.
INTERPRETATION
2. In this Order,
- “Act”
“Act” means the Natural Products Marketing Act of Nova Scotia; (Loi)
- “Board”
“Board” means the Nova Scotia Winter Grain Marketing Board; (Office)
- “Plan”
“Plan” means any plan for the marketing of wheat established and amended from time to time pursuant to the Act; (Plan)
- “wheat”
“wheat” means winter wheat or rye produced in Nova Scotia. (blé)
INTERPROVINCIAL AND EXPORT TRADE
3. The Board is authorized to regulate the marketing of wheat in interprovincial and export trade and for such purposes may, by order or regulation, with respect to persons and property situated within the Province of Nova Scotia, exercise all or any powers like the powers exercisable by it in relation to the marketing of wheat locally within that province under the Act and the Plan.
