Regulations Excluding Certain Buildings and Premises from the Definition “Hatchery”
The Minister of Agriculture, pursuant to subsection 2(2) of the Health of Animals ActFootnote *, hereby makes the annexed Regulations excluding certain buildings and premises from the definition “hatchery”.

SHORT TITLE
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Hatchery Exclusion Regulations.
EXCLUSIONS
2. The following buildings and premises are excluded from the definition “hatchery”:
(a) any buildings or premises that have an incubator capacity of less than 1,000 eggs; and
(b) any buildings or premises that are not used to store for incubation chicken, turkey, duck, goose or game bird eggs.
