Citizenship Regulations

Version of section 10 from 2006-03-22 to 2009-04-16:


 An application by a citizen for a certificate of citizenship made under subsection 12(1) of the Act shall be

  • (a) made in prescribed form; and

  • (b) filed with the Registrar, together with

    • (i) evidence that establishes that the applicant is a citizen, and

    • (ii) two photographs of the applicant of the size and type shown on a form prescribed under section 28 of the Act and signed by the applicant if the applicant has attained the age of 14 years on or before the date of the application.
