53 (1) Any statement or other material required to be served in an objection proceeding pursuant to section 11.13 of the Act or to these Regulations may be served on a party or a party’s trade-mark agent or representative for service either personally or by registered mail at the address in Canada set out in the statement of objection or the Minister’s statement referred to in subsection 11.12(2) of the Act.
(2) When service is effected by registered mail, it is deemed to be effected on the date of mailing.
