    The airport reference point, shown on Moncton Airport Zoning Plan Numbers S-2021-3, S-2021-4, S-2021-9 and S-2021-10, dated March 12, 1988, is determined by measuring 655 m northerly along the centre line of runway 02-20 from the southerly end of runway 02 and thence measuring 183 m easterly at right angles from the said centre line.

    The approach surfaces, shown on Moncton Airport Zoning Plan Numbers S-2021-0 to S-2021-12 inclusive, dated March 12, 1988, are surfaces abutting each end of the strips associated with runways designated 06-24, 11-29 and 02-20 and are described as follows:

    The outer surface, shown on Moncton Airport Zoning Plan Numbers S-2021-0, S-2021-2 to S-2021-5 inclusive and S-2021-8 to S-2021-11 inclusive, dated March 12, 1988, is an imaginary surface located at a common plane established at a constant elevation of 45 m above the elevation of the airport reference point, except that, where that common plane is less than 9 m above the surface of the ground, the outer surface is an imaginary surface located at 9 m above the surface of the ground.

    Each transitional surface, shown on Moncton Airport Zoning Plan Numbers S-2021-0, S-2021-3, S-2021-4, S-2021-9 and S-2021-10 dated March 12, 1988, is a surface consisting of an inclined plane rising at a ratio of 1 m measured vertically to 7 m measured horizontally at right angles to the centre line and projected centre line of the strip and extending upward and outward from the lateral limits of the strip and its approach surfaces to an intersection with the outer surface or another transitional surface of an adjoining strip.

    The boundary of the outer limits of the lands to which these Regulations apply, shown on Moncton Airport Zoning Plan Numbers S-2021-0, S-2021-2, S-2021-6, S-2021-8, S-2021-9 and S-2021-11, dated March 12, 1988, is a circular area with a radius of 4 000 m centred on the airport reference point.


  2. Moncton Airport Zoning Regulations - SOR/90-818
    Regulations Respecting Zoning at Moncton Airport

    Whereas, pursuant to section 5.5 of the Aeronautics Act, a copy of the proposed Zoning Regulations respecting Moncton Airport, substantially in the form set out in the schedule hereto, was published in two successive issues of the Canada Gazette Part I on March 17th and 24th, 1990, and in two successive issues of The Times-Transcript on March 14th and 15th, 1990, and in two successive issues of L’Acadie Nouvelle on March 13th and 14th, 1990, and a reasonable opportunity was thereby afforded to interested persons to make representations to the Minister of Transport with respect thereto;

    Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, pursuant to section 5.4 of the Aeronautics Act, is pleased hereby to revoke the Moncton Airport Zoning Regulations, C.R.C., c. 94 and to make the annexed Regulations respecting zoning at Moncton Airport, in substitution therefor.

     These Regulations may be cited as the Moncton Airport Zoning Regulations.
