(<DefinedTermFr>Organisation</DefinedTermFr>)</Text></Definition></Section><Heading lims:inforce-start-date="2006-03-22" lims:fid="897209" lims:id="897209" level="1"><TitleText>Privileges and Immunities</TitleText></Heading><Section lims:inforce-start-date="2006-03-22" lims:lastAmendedDate="2006-03-22" lims:fid="897210" lims:id="897210"><Label>3</Label><Subsection lims:inforce-start-date="2006-03-22" lims:fid="897211" lims:id="897211"><Label>(1)</Label><Text>The Organization shall have in Canada the legal capacities of a body corporate.</Text></Subsection><Subsection lims:inforce-start-date="2006-03-22" lims:fid="897212" lims:id="897212"><Label>(2)</Label><Text>The Organization shall have in Canada, to such extent as may be required for the exercise of its functions in Canada, the privileges and immunities set out in Articles II and III of the Convention.</Text></Subsection><Subsection lims:inforce-start-date="2006-03-22" lims:fid="897213" lims:id="897213"><Label>(3)</Label><Text>Representatives of the governments that are Members of the Organization shall have in Canada, to such extent as may be required for the exercise of their functions in Canada, the privileges and immunities set out in Article IV of the Convention.</Text></Subsection><Subsection lims:inforce-start-date="2006-03-22" lims:fid="897214" lims:id="897214"><Label>(4)</Label><Text>All officials of the Organization shall have in Canada, to such extent as may be required for the exercise of their functions in Canada, the privileges and immunities set out in Article V of the Convention.</Text></Subsection><Subsection lims:inforce-start-date="2006-03-22" lims:fid="897215" lims:id="897215"><Label>(5)</Label><Text>All experts performing missions for the Organization shall have in Canada, to such extent as may be required for the exercise of their functions in Canada, the privileges and immunities set out in Article VI of the Convention.</Text></Subsection><HistoricalNote><HistoricalNoteSubItem lims:inforce-start-date="2006-03-22" lims:fid="897217" lims:id="897217">SOR/89-390, s. 1</HistoricalNoteSubItem></HistoricalNote></Section></Body></Regulation>
