His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources, pursuant to section 7 of the Department of Natural Resources Act*, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Regulations respecting the report on the state of Canada’s forests.*S.C. 1994, c. 41Short Title

1These Regulations may be cited as the Report on the State of Canada’s Forests Regulations.

Report

2By June 30 of each year, the Minister of Natural Resources shall prepare a report respecting the state of the forests in Canada and their contribution to the economy and environment of Canada and to the social well-being of Canadians.
