62 If Bill C-44, introduced in the 1st session of the 42nd Parliament and entitled Budget Implementation Act, 2017, No. 1, receives royal assent, then, on the first day on which both section 128 of that Act and section 36 of this Act, are in force, section 71.08 of the Access to Information Act is amended by striking out “and” at the end of paragraph (e), by adding “and” at the end of paragraph (f) and by adding the following after paragraph (f):
(g) in respect of the office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer, the Speaker of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Commons, jointly.
