2 (1) The definition Agreement in section 159.1 of the Regulations is replaced by the following:
Agreement means the Agreement done at Washington, D.C. on December 5, 2002 between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America for Cooperation in the Examination of Refugee Status Claims from Nationals of Third Countries, including any modifications or additions made in accordance with its terms. (2) Section 159.1 of the Regulations is amended by adding the following in alphabetical order:
stateless person means a person who is not considered a national by any state under the operation of its law. (apatride)
