19 (1) Where the section of pipe, or other component, containing test liquid and the temperature sensor in a metering assembly incorporating an ATC have first been stabilized at ambient temperature and where test liquid at a temperature approximately 20°C higher or lower than ambient temperature is suddenly caused to flow through the pipe section at a mean velocity of approximately 3 m/s, the temperature sensor shall respond to at least 90 per cent of the variation in the temperature of the liquid
(a) within 15 seconds, in the case of motor fuel dispensers; and
(b) within 20 seconds, in the case of any other type of meter.
(2) For the purposes of subsection (1), the test liquid shall be mineral spirits or any other liquid with similar physical properties.
