      (3) For the purposes of these Regulations, words and expressions used in TSD 109, TSD 119 or TSD 139 and not defined in that technical standards document but defined in either of those other technical standards documents have the same meaning as in that other technical standards document.

  3. Motor Vehicle Tire Safety Regulations - SOR/2013-198 (Section 14)

     Until September 1, 2014, tires of a class prescribed by subsection 3(1), 4(1) or 5(1) may, instead of conforming to the applicable requirements of sections 3 to 5, conform to the applicable requirements of sections 5, 6 and 8 to 10 of the Motor Vehicle Tire Safety Regulations, 1995 as they read on the day before the day on which these Regulations came into force.

     If, in the application to a tire of a portion of a section of these Regulations or a portion of a provision of a technical standards document, either the metric or the imperial system of measurement is used, the same system of measurement must be used in the application to the tire of any other portion of the section or provision.
