National Parks Highway Traffic Regulations

32 (1) No person shall drive a motor vehicle on a highway at a rate of speed in excess of the speed limit prescribed by a traffic sign for the highway.

(2) For the purposes of subsection 8(1) of the National Parks Act, the maximum fine to which a person who contravenes subsection (1) is liable on summary conviction is the lesser of

• (a) the fine prescribed by the highway traffic laws of the province in which the contravention is committed, and

• (b) $2000.
