Version of section 16 from 2006-12-14 to 2009-01-11:
16 (1) Registered mailable matter posted in Canada for delivery in Canada may be accepted for insurance against loss, rifling or damage.
(2) When registered mailable matter is accepted for insurance, the Corporation shall give to the sender a receipt in a form approved by the Corporation.
