Undeliverable and Redirected Mail Regulations
Version of section 10 from 2006-03-22 to 2008-09-04:
10 (1) Subject to subsection (2), undeliverable mail that bears the return address of the sender on its cover shall
(a) if the address of the sender is in Canada, be returned to the sender by the Corporation; and
(b) if the address of the sender is outside Canada, be handled pursuant to section 15.
(2) Where an item of undeliverable mail is incentive lettermail as defined by the Corporation, addressed admail, or advertising or promotional matter addressed to householders, and bears on its cover the return address of a sender in Canada, it shall be handled in a manner that has been established by the Corporation.
