CANADA CORPORATIONS ACT

Order Designating Ministers For the Purposes of Subsections 5.1(1) And 5.2(1) of the Canada Corporations Act

Short Title

 This Order may be cited as the Ministers Designation Order (Canada Corporations Act).

Designations

 The Minister of Energy, Mines and Resources and the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development are hereby designated, pursuant to subsection 5.1(1) of the Canada Corporations Act, as the Ministers whose concurrence is required in an application to the Minister of Consumer and Corporate Affairs to incorporate a company under Part I of the said Act whose objects are or include the construction or operation of a pipeline extending beyond the limits of a province for the transmission of oil or gas or both as defined in the National Energy Board Act.

 The Minister of Transport and the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development are hereby designated, pursuant to subsection 5.2(1) of the Canada Corporations Act, as the Ministers whose concurrence is required in an application to the Minister of Consumer and Corporate Affairs to incorporate a company under Part I of the said Act whose objects are or include the construction or operation of a commodity pipeline, as defined in the National Transportation Act, extending beyond the limits of a province.
