List of Pest Control Product Formulants and Contaminants of Health or Environmental Concern

The Minister of Health, pursuant to paragraph 43(5)(b) of the Pest Control Products ActFootnote a, hereby establishes the annexed List of Pest Control Product Formulants and Contaminants of Health or Environmental Concern.

Interpretation

 In this List, CAS Registry Number means the identification number that is assigned to a chemical substance by the Chemical Abstracts Service Division of the American Chemical Society.

General

 While Part 2 applies to each allergen listed in the Part, it also applies to any protein-containing derivative, hydrolyzed plant protein, starch or lecithin of that allergen.

 The contaminants to which Part 3 applies meet the federal Toxic Substances Management Policy criteria as Track 1 substances, which that Policy targets for virtual elimination from the environment.
