His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, hereby

• (a) pursuant to paragraph (d) of the definition appropriate Minister in section 2 of the Financial Administration ActFootnote ^a and subparagraph (a)(ii) of the definition appropriate Minister in subsection 83(1) of that Act, repeals Order in Council P.C. 2006-72 of February 6, 2006Footnote ^b, and

  • Return to footnote ^aR.S., c. F-11

  • Return to footnote ^bSI/2006-32

• (b) pursuant to the definition Minister in section 2 of the National Capital ActFootnote ^c,

  • Return to footnote ^cR.S., c. N-4

  (i) repeals Order in Council P.C. 2006-71 of February 6, 2006Footnote ^d, and

  • Return to footnote ^dSI/2006-31

  • (ii) designates the Minister of Foreign Affairs, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, as the Minister for the purposes of the National Capital ActFootnote ^c,

effective May 18, 2011.
