Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under subsection 5(1)Footnote ^a of the Salaries ActFootnote ^b, designates the Department of Employment and Social Development to provide support to the Minister of Citizens’ Services in the carrying out of that Minister’s responsibilities.
