Federal-Provincial Fiscal Arrangements Regulations, 1999

3 For the purpose of these Regulations, the population of a province for a fiscal year shall be determined by the Chief Statistician of Canada, on the basis of Statistics Canada’s official estimate of the population of the province on the first day of June of the fiscal year that is set out in the certificate submitted under subsection 9(2).
