  • 12 Sections 61 and 63, subsections 64(2) and (3), section 65 and paragraph 68(a) of the Vessel Pollution and Dangerous Chemicals Regulations apply in respect of vessels that are capable of engaging in the drilling for, or the production, conservation or processing of, oil or gas, except when the vessel is on location and engaged in the exploration or drilling for, or the production, conservation or processing of, oil or gas as defined in section 2 of the Canada Oil and Gas Operations Act, in an area described in paragraph 3(a) or (b) of that Act.
