Duty Free Shop Regulations
Version of section 4 from 2024-10-21 to 2024-11-26:
4 (1) An applicant must, before a licence is issued to them, give security in accordance with the requirements of the Financial Security (Electronic Means) Regulations and in an amount that is determined by the Minister and that is not less than $10,000.
(2) The Minister may at any time require a licensee to increase the amount of security given under subsection (1) to an amount sufficient to ensure the payment of any duties payable in respect of the goods in the duty free shop.
