Manitoba Fishery Regulations, 1987

Version of section 16 from 2017-06-09 to 2023-03-31:

  •  (1) No person shall possess live fish or live fish eggs unless authorized

    • (a) under the Fisheries Act (Manitoba);

    • (b) by a Live Fish Handling Permit.

    • (c) [Repealed, SOR/2017-122, s. 2]

  • (2) No person shall, unless authorized, bring into Manitoba, possess in Manitoba or release into any waters of Manitoba live fish or live fish eggs of a species set out, in respect of Manitoba, in Part 2 of the schedule to the Aquatic Invasive Species Regulations.

  • (2.1) [Repealed, SOR/2015-121, s. 31]

  • (3) No person shall bring into Manitoba for use as bait any live fish, crayfish, leeches or salamanders other than under the authority of a Live Fish Handling Permit.
