Regulations Respecting the Stabilization of the Price of Industrial Milk and Industrial Cream Delivered for Marketing for the 1989 Period

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture, pursuant to sections 10Footnote * and 14 of the Agricultural Stabilization Act, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Regulations respecting the stabilization of the price of industrial milk and industrial cream delivered for marketing for the 1989 period, in accordance with the schedule hereto.

Short Title

 These Regulations may be cited as the Industrial Milk and Cream 1989 Period Stabilization Regulations.

Interpretation

 In these Regulations,

period

period means the period beginning on April 1 of any year and ending on March 31 of the following year; (période)

producer

producer means a person who resides in Canada and produces industrial milk or industrial cream in Canada. (producteur)

Prescribed Price

 The prescribed price for industrial milk and industrial cream delivered for marketing for the 1989 period is the amount obtained by adjusting 100.5 per cent of the base price thereof for that period by the factor of $0.64/kg of butterfat, as determined by the Board pursuant to paragraph 10(1)(a) of the Agricultural Stabilization Act.
