Regulations Respecting the Advertising, Sale and Importation of Booster Cushions for Children for Use in Motor Vehicles

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Consumer and Corporate Affairs, pursuant to section 5Footnote * of the Hazardous Products Act, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Regulations respecting the advertising, sale and importation of booster cushions for children for use in motor vehicles.

Short Title

 These Regulations may be cited as the Hazardous Products (Booster Cushions) Regulations.

Interpretation

 In these Regulations, booster cushion means any product included in item 45 of Part II of Schedule I to the Hazardous Products Act. (coussin d’appoint)

Authorization

 A booster cushion may be advertised, sold or imported only if it meets the specifications set out in Schedule 5 to the Motor Vehicle Restraint Systems and Booster Cushions Safety Regulations.
