571.01 This Subpart applies in respect of maintenance and elementary work performed on the following aircraft, except for remotely piloted aircraft that are an element of a remotely piloted aircraft system in respect of which a design approval document has not been issued or applied for under Subpart 21 of this Part, ultra-light aeroplanes and hang gliders:

• (a) Canadian aircraft;

• (b) foreign aircraft operated under Part IV or VII;

• (c) foreign aircraft, other than aircraft referred to in paragraph (b), if the maintenance or elementary work is performed under the terms of an agreement or technical arrangement between Canada and the state of registry of the aircraft; and

• (d) parts intended for installation on aircraft referred to in paragraphs (a) to (c).
