Commission for Environmental Cooperation Privileges and Immunities in Canada Order
1 The definitions in this section apply in this Order.
- Act
Act means the Foreign Missions and International Organizations Act. (Loi)
- Agreement
Agreement means the Headquarters Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Commission for Environmental Cooperation that was signed at Ottawa and Montreal on May 29 and 30, 1997, and that came into force on May 30, 1997. (Accord)
- Commission
Commission means the Commission for Environmental Cooperation established by Article 8(1) of the North American Agreement on Environmental Cooperation between the Government of Canada, the Government of the United States of America and the Government of the United Mexican States that was concluded on September 14, 1993, and that came into force on January 1, 1994. (Commission)
- Convention
Convention means the Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations set out in Schedule III to the Act. (Convention)
- Secretariat
Secretariat means the Secretariat of the Commission established by Article 8(2) of the North American Agreement on Environmental Cooperation between the Government of Canada, the Government of the United States of America and the Government of the United Mexican States that was concluded on September 14, 1993, and that came into force on January 1, 1994. (Secrétariat)
- Vienna Convention
Vienna Convention means the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations set out in Schedule I to the Act. (Convention de Vienne)
