Canada Cooperatives Regulations

12 For the purpose of paragraph 23(a) of the Act, a cooperative name is prohibited if the name contains any of the following:

• (a) “Air Canada”;

• (b) “Canada Standard” or “CS”;

• (c) “Parliament Hill” or “Colline du Parlement”;

• (d) “Royal Canadian Mounted Police”, “Gendarmerie royale du Canada”, “RCMP” or “GRC”; or

• (e) “United Nations”, “Nations Unies”, “UN” or “ONU”.
