Consolidated Regulations

The Justice Laws Website provides an official consolidation, or updated version, of the federal Acts and regulations maintained by the Department of Justice as a convenient way for the public to view the state of the law, without having to carry out research and put together the various amended provisions. As of 2009-06-01, all consolidated Acts and regulations are "official".

Bilingual PDF versions of consolidated Acts and regulations are also available. Previous versions of consolidated legislation can be accessed using the “Previous Versions” link at the top of each Acts and regulations or the Advanced Search feature. Links to "Amendments Not in force" and "Related Provisions", if applicable, are included following the table of contents. Provisions in original enactments which are not yet in force will appear shaded.
