56 (1) The radio licence fee payable in respect of a radio licence that is issued in respect of radio apparatus installed in a station and that authorizes the use of certain frequencies is
(a) the annual fee for the period from April 1 to March 31 of the following year, that is payable in advance on March 31 of each year and that is the fee set out in column IV of Parts I to VII of Schedule III;
(b) the monthly fee payable for the period during which a radio licence is valid and that is the fee set out in column III of Parts I to VII of Schedule III; or
(c) the fee payable for a radio licence with a term of 30 days or less is the monthly fee.
(2) Subject to subsection (3), radio licences expire on March 31 of each year.
(3) Radio licences issued for 30 days or less expire on the day indicated on the licence and are not renewable.
