Regulations Respecting Information Regarding the Chemical Composition of Fuels
SHORT TITLE
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Fuels Information Regulations, No. 1.

APPLICATION
3. These Regulations apply to fuels in liquid form that originate from crude oils, coal or bituminous sands.
INFORMATION
4. (1) Every person who produces in Canada or imports into Canada more than 400 cubic metres of a fuel named in an item of Form 1 of the schedule shall submit to the Minister, for each quarter of the calendar year during which the fuel was produced or imported, the information required by that Form.
(2) Information submitted pursuant to subsection (1) shall be submitted on or before January 31st following the end of the calendar year during which the fuel was produced or imported.

5. (1) Every person who produces in Canada or imports into Canada a fuel that contains any additive other than lead or lead compounds shall submit to the Minister, in respect of each additive not previously reported to the Minister under these Regulations, the information required by Form 2 of the schedule within 60 days of selling a cumulative total of 400 cubic metres of the fuel containing that additive within a calendar year.
(2) Where any change occurs in the information submitted by a person as required by section 1, 2 or 4 of Form 2 of the schedule, that person shall, within 60 days of the change, report the change to the Minister.
