  1. Children of Deceased Veterans Education Assistance Regulations - C.R.C., c. 399 (Section 5)
    •  (1) The costs of education or instruction that may be paid in respect of a student under the Act to an educational institution in which the student is taking his course of education or instruction include

  2. Children of Deceased Veterans Education Assistance Regulations - C.R.C., c. 399 (Section 6)

     Any allowance authorized under the Act to or in respect of a student may be terminated

    • (a) in the event of the failure of the student to comply with the rules and regulations of the educational institution in which the student is taking his course of education or instruction; or

    • (b) in the event that the progress or standard of achievement of the student is considered unsatisfactory by the head of the educational institution and the Minister.


  3. Children of Deceased Veterans Education Assistance Regulations - C.R.C., c. 399 (Section 3)

     An allowance under the Act to or in respect of a student shall be computed and paid on a monthly basis during the academic year of the educational institution in which the student is taking his course of education or instruction, up to the end of the week during which the student’s final examination for the academic year is held.


  4. Children of Deceased Veterans Education Assistance Regulations - C.R.C., c. 399 (Section 7)

     The Department shall, as directed by the Minister, provide counselling and guidance to assist potential students and their parents or guardians in planning and implementing appropriate educational programs.
