  1. Family Homes on Reserves and Matrimonial Interests or Rights Act - S.C. 2013, c. 20 (Section 18)
    Marginal note:Application to vary or revoke order
    •  (1) Any person in whose favour or against whom an order is made under section16 or 17 or any person specified in the order may apply to the court in the province in which the designated judge has jurisdiction to have the order varied or revoked

      • (a) within 21 days after the day on which notice of the order made under section16 is received, or within any further time that the court allows; and

    •  (1) If a First Nation intends to enact First Nation laws under section7, the council of the First Nation must submit the proposed First Nation laws to the First Nation members for their approval.

      (2) Every person who is 18 years of age or over and a member of the First Nation, whether or not resident on a reserve of the First Nation, is eligible to vote in the community approval process.
