Marginal note:Short title

1 This Act may be cited as the Public Sector Pension Investment Board Act.

32 For the purposes of subsection 26.1(5) of the Act, an election made by an officer is deemed to be revoked on the day on which the officer is required to contribute to the Superannuation Account pursuant to subsection 5(1) of the Canadian Forces Superannuation Act.

15 For the purposes of subsection 49(3) of the Act, where a person becomes entitled to a pension under any of Parts I to III of the Act and is required to contribute by instalments in respect of service for which no deductions have been made, during any period that the pension is not payable or is reduced to an amount that is not sufficient to pay the instalments in full, the unpaid portion of the remaining instalments shall be reserved from the pay and allowances or salary payable to the pensioner or from any other amount payable to him by Her Majesty.

Marginal note:Time and duration of payment

43 Pensions and compassionate allowances granted under this Act are, unless otherwise ordered by the Governor in Council, payable in equal monthly instalments in arrears, and unless otherwise specified by this Act shall continue during the lifetime of the recipient and thereafter until the end of the month during which he dies.
