7 A person may use a postage meter to print words or symbols on an item, including advertisements, slogans or a return address, provided that the words and symbols do not infringe on the area reserved for the postage meter impression.

2 (1) The definitions in this subsection apply in this Act.
periodical publication means a paper, magazine or periodical that is published periodically or in parts or numbers and that contains public news, intelligence or reports of events, or advertisements. (publication périodique)
3 The notice required under paragraph 378.2(2)(b) of the Cooperative Credit Associations Act shall be in the form set out in subsection 2(1) and shall appear prominently in advertisements in which the retail association offers deposit facilities or solicits deposits.
