Marginal note:Entity other than corporation

  •  (1) If, in the Minister’s opinion, it is necessary to promote the stability or maintain the efficiency of the financial system in Canada, the Minister may, with the Governor in Council’s authorization, establish an entity, other than a corporation, on any terms and conditions that the Minister considers appropriate.

  • Marginal note:Payments out of C.R.F.

    (2) The Minister may make payments to the entity out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, at the times and in the manner that the Minister considers appropriate.

  • Marginal note:Loans to entity

    (3) The Minister may, out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, lend money to the entity on any terms and conditions that the Minister may fix.
