Atlantic Pilotage Authority Regulations

21 (1) The fee payable to the Authority by an applicant for a licence is

• (a) $250 for the examination; and

• (b) $250 for the issue of the licence.

(2) The fee payable to the Authority by an applicant for a pilotage certificate is

• (a) $1,000 for the examination; and

• (b) $250 for the issue of the pilotage certificate.

(3) The fee payable to the Authority by the holder of a pilotage certificate is $250 in respect of each compulsory pilotage area endorsed on the certificate for each period of two years after the year in which the certificate is issued.

(4) The fee payable to the Authority by an applicant for a waiver issued under subsection 5(4) is $500 if the application relates to a command by only one master and $250 for each additional master to whom the application relates.

(5) The fee payable to the Authority by an applicant for the renewal of a waiver under subsection 5(6) is, if the application relates to a command by only one master, $250 and for each additional master to whom the application relates, $125.
