Order Transferring Certain Portions of the Public Service Commission to the Public Service Human Resources Management Agency of Canada

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 2(a) of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act, hereby transfers from the Public Service Commission to the Public Service Human Resources Management Agency of Canada, effective April 1, 2004, the control and supervision of those portions of the public service in the Public Service Commission known as
(a) the Accelerated Executive Development Directorate, which is comprised of the Assistant Deputy Minister Prequalification Process and the Accelerated Executive Development Program,
(b) the Career Assignment Program,
(c) the Management Trainee Program,
(d) the Accelerated Economist Training Program,
(e) Interchange Canada,
(f) Demographics within the Research Directorate, and
(g) Labour Market Studies within the Research Directorate,
except for those portions carrying out the powers, duties and functions of the Public Service Commission under paragraph 5(a) and sections 6Footnote a, 8, 35Footnote b, 37Footnote c and 41Footnote d of the Public Service Employment Act.
