Order Transferring to the Department of Industry, Science and Technology the Control and Supervision of Certain Portions of the Public Service in the Department of Communications (SI/93-170)

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 2(a) of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act, is pleased hereby to transfer to the Department of Industry, Science and Technology the control and supervision of those portions of the public service known as Telecommunications Policy, Communications Development and Planning, Broadcasting Regulation, Radio Regulatory Branch and Engineering Programs in the Department of Communications, as amalgamated with the Department of the Secretary of State and the Department of Multiculturalism and Citizenship by Order in Council P.C. 1993-1489 of June 25, 1993Footnote ^*.
