Order Respecting the Withdrawal from Disposal of Certain Lands in the Northwest Territories

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, pursuant to paragraph 23(a) of the Territorial Lands Act, hereby repeals the Withdrawal from Disposal Order, made by Order in Council P.C. 1970-526 of March 24, 1970Footnote a, and makes the annexed Order respecting the Withdrawal from Disposal of Certain lands in the Northwest Territories.

Short Title

 This Order may be cited as the Withdrawal from Disposal Order (East Arm of Great Slave Lake National Park — Great Slave Lake, N.W.T.).

Purpose

 The purpose of this Order is to withdraw certain lands from disposal to establish a proposed national park on the East Arm of Great Slave Lake National Park, Great Slave Lake, in the Northwest Territories.

Lands Withdrawn from Disposal

 Subject to section 4, the lands described in the schedule are withdrawn from disposal.
