Order Designating the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of National Defence and the Minister of Public Works and Government Services as the Ministers for Purposes of Certain Sections of the Act

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 5 of the Anti-Personnel Mines Convention Implementation ActFootnote a, hereby designates

  • (a) the Minister of Foreign Affairs, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, as the Minister for the purposes of all provisions of that Act, other than sections 8, 9, 10 and 22;

  • (b) the Minister of National Defence, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, as the Minister for the purposes of sections 8, 9, 10 and 18 of that Act; and

  • (c) the Minister of Public Works and Government Services, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, as the Minister for the purposes of sections 18 and 22 of that Act.
