“SeaRose FPSO” Remission Order, 2004

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 115 of the Customs TariffFootnote a, hereby makes the annexed “SeaRose FPSO” Remission Order, 2004.

Remission

 Subject to section 2, remission is hereby granted to Husky Oil Operations Limited, Calgary, Alberta, and Petro Canada, Calgary, Alberta, in the amount representing the customs duties paid or payable under the Customs Tariff in respect of the hull and turret portion of the “SeaRose FPSO” imported into Canada for the White Rose offshore oil project.

Conditions

 The remission is granted on the conditions that:

  • (a) the importers file such evidence as may be required by the Canada Border Services Agency to determine eligibility for remission; and

  • (b) a claim for remission is made to the Minister of National Revenue prior to April 1, 2007.

Coming into Force

 This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.
