His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to subsection 531(1)Footnote a and section 539.14Footnote b of the Trust and Loan Companies ActFootnote c, hereby makes the annexed Exemption for Public Notices or Documents (Trust and Loan Companies) Regulations.

Interpretation

 In these Regulations, Act means the Trust and Loan Companies Act.

Exemption Circumstances

 For the purpose of section 539.14 of the Act, the prescribed circumstances are that the exemption does not prejudice any of the shareholders or the public interest.

Coming into Force

 These Regulations come into force on June 1, 2011.
